Cookie Policy

Last updated · April 26, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Anya Kaur uses cookies and similar storage technologies on our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — serve comparable purposes and are covered by this Policy.

2. Cookies We Set

Strictly necessary (always on). We set a small number of essential cookies needed to operate the site safely:

  • Authentication / session cookies. Issued when you sign in via magic link, so the site can remember you between pages. These expire when you log out or after a fixed inactivity window.
  • Security cookies. Used to protect form submissions against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and to throttle abusive traffic.
  • Preference storage. A small amount of local storage may remember your theme choice or language preference.

No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers. Anya Kaur does not set advertising cookies or share data with cross-site advertising networks.

3. Optional Analytics (Off By Default)

If product analytics are enabled, we use PostHog to understand which pages and features are used. PostHog is configured to be privacy-respecting (IP truncation, no session replay of sensitive fields), and analytics cookies are off by default — they are set only after you give consent through the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data or by writing to press@anyakaur.com.

4. Embedded Third-Party Content

Some pages may embed third-party content (e.g., a video player). When you load such content, the third party may set its own cookies in line with their policies. We do not control these cookies; please consult the relevant provider's policy.

5. How To Manage Cookies

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and form submissions. Blocking optional analytics cookies has no effect on functionality.

6. Do Not Track

Where your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal or the Global Privacy Control (GPC) header, we honor it as a request to disable optional analytics for your visit.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy as our use of cookies evolves. The "effective" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
